The Western & Central Florida Cooperator’s Condo, HOA & Co-op Expo Networking, Education and Information for Managers and Boards

The Western & Central Florida Cooperator’s Condo, HOA & Co-op Expo

The Western & Central Florida Cooperator’s first annual Condo, HOA & Co-op Expo will be coming to the Tampa Convention Center on December 9th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

With more than 150 vendors in attendance, a full roster of educational programming, and Tampa Bay area location, this is a must-attend event for everyone in the area's condo, HOA and co-op industry—and admission is FREE! (Visit www.tampa-expo.com for registration details and more information.) It’s a one-stop, custom-built marketplace for vendors, products and ideas that you can’t afford to miss. And what’s more you can meet in person, in real time, with the service professionals you need.

A Learning Experience

Our seminars are a main attraction at The Western & Central Florida Cooperator Expo. The 2014 seminar panels provide in-depth discussion of legal, administrative, management and financial concerns important to the region's condo and HOA managers, board members, and residents and also offer CEU credits to registered attendees.

The day’s roster will include: Can You Hear Me Now? Improving Board/Management Communication, presented by Christine Evans, CPM, PCAM, of Associa; Community Association Collections and Accounts Receivable, presented by SNAP Collections’ Mitch Drimmer; Governing Smart - Mastering the Business of Your Association, presented by Attorney Jane Bolin of PeytonBolin, PL; and The Do's and Don'ts of Budgeting and Reserves: What You Need to Know, presented by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s Lazaro Gonzalez. The Western & Central Florida Cooperator will also host its own seminar panel on emergency preparedness.

Free Help and Advice

Admission isn't the only thing that's free at the Expo—in addition to networking and education opportunities, the Expo will feature free advice booths staffed by professionals from a wide array of industries, waiting to answer any and all community association and building-related questions you might have. If you have legal questions about your association, financial questions, or questions about day-to-day management of your building community, you can stop by one of the booths for answers from leading legal, management, maintenance and financial professionals.

It’s a Win-Win Situation

And attending the Expo can make you a winner. The event will feature dozens of raffles and giveaways throughout the day—including the Grand Prize Reserve Fund giveaway, courtesy of The Western & Central Florida Cooperator and Yale Robbins Publications LLC. One attendee’s name will be drawn at random to win a $2,500 contribution to their building or association's reserve fund. The winner will be drawn after registration has closed, and a check for the winnings will be made payable to the winner’s association, care of their management company. Only board members qualify to enter the reserve fund drawing, and attendance at the Expo is required for eligibility. For complete details on how to enter the reserve fund drawing, visit the Expo website, www.tampa-expo.com.
