Learning is Fundamental

Visiting with exhibitors is only part of the story. A full slate of educational seminar panels will offer attendees an in-depth discussion of legal, administrative, management and financial concerns important to Western Florida’s condo and HOA managers, board members and owners. The seminars, some of which will offer CEU credits, will talk about planning the perfect paving project; establishing internal controls as a safeguard against fraud; strategies for creating a smoke-free environment in your building community and outlining condominium association responsibilities for the board and manager. Presenters will include Asphalt Restoration Technology Systems, Associa Florida, the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). The Western Florida Cooperator will also present an informative CAM-accredited seminar on disaster preparedness and how to conduct fair and honest board elections. Free Help and Advice

Admission isn't the only thing that's free at the Expo—in addition to networking and education opportunities, the Expo will feature free advice booths staffed by professionals from a wide array of industries, waiting to answer any and all community association and building-related questions you might have. If you have legal questions about your association, financial questions, or questions about day-to-day management of your building community, don’t forget to stop by one of the booths for answers from leading legal, management, maintenance and financial professionals.
